A VISIT TO DEVON AND SANDFORD
ORLEIGH
IN SEPTEMBER 2004
THE PHOTOS
During my visit I managed to
get around to see a number of
places of interest including Newton Abbott, Sandford Orleigh,
Bovey Tracey, Teignmouth and Shaldon and also of course
|I took a number of Aerial views of these places.
Below is a selection of photos that I hope may be of interest.
An aerial view showing all the new building around the old place with
the new road going from bottom to top right.
A close up taken on a digital camera.
The South side of the old places looking pretty smart - The large tree is no
longer there.
Then front of what was NAGS, now renamed Knowles Hill school!!
Newton Abbott train station with Courtenay Park in the foreground and
Brunell Industrial Park beyond.
A cute little old road sign at the junction near Travor Pollards house
The 'quaint' Dartmouth ferry. There are
two of them and they
each carry eight cars!
